Lake District

Joining the likes of the Taj Mahal and the Pyramids of Giza, 2017 saw The English Lake District become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From its highest peak, Scaffell Pike, to its deepest lake, Wastwater; there’s a wealth of adventure to be had across its clear lakes, ancient woodlands, and diverse landscape.

At ten and a half miles long, one mile wide and 220 feet deep, Lake Windermere is the largest lake in both the Lake District and the whole of England. To the North of the shores, you’ll find the small market town of Ambleside. To the south, you’ll find Bowness-on-Windermere, a sprawling market town popular with tourists for sailing and water sports.
